This handcrafted board measures 16" diameter x 3" thick. It has rubber feet. Finger grooves are on either side. Handmade by Jerry Lalancette of Bolton Lake Woodcraft, of Bolton, Connecticut.
Black walnut is the most popular wood species. The rich brown color and strength put walnut in a class by itself. This work is hand-rubbed with mineral oil and beeswax so it's food-safe and ready to use.
ABOUT END GRAIN CONSTRUCTION
Professional chefs prefer end grain cutting boards, as they are the highest quality. Gentler on your knives, they remain in fantastic condition as long as they are well-cared for. End grain boards can become treasured heirlooms from one generation's family cook to the next.
Crafted in Jerry's home woodshop on beautiful Bolton Lake in rural Connecticut, these woodcrafts will be pieces of art for your home.
